Triple/Quad Gold Awards
The Triple and Quad Gold Awards honor skaters who have reached exceptional levels of achievement in figure skating. The Triple Gold Award recognizes those who have completed their gold test level in any three of the four Skate Canada disciplines: freeskate, skills, dance, or interpretive. The Quad Gold Award celebrates skaters who have accomplished their gold test level in all four disciplines. These prestigious awards highlight the dedication, skill, and perseverance of our most accomplished skaters.
Award Details
This is a lifetime award; a skater can only receive one award (Triple Gold or Quad Gold).
Membership Requirements
- Must be a member of the Alberta Figure Skating Foundation for two full years.
- Must be a member in good standing by December 31, 2023.
- Membership is separate from Skate Canada membership.
- Membership fees: $65 per family or $40 per individual.

Qualifications
- Triple Gold Award: Completion of any three disciplines (Free Skate, Dance, Skating Skills, Interpretive) at the Gold Level.
- Quadruple Gold Award: Completion of all four disciplines (Free Skate, Dance, Skating Skills, Interpretive) at the Gold Level.
- Skaters have up to two years after completing their last gold level to qualify. The cutoff year is 2021.
